Hi there! My name is Erica, and I am a board-certified Registered Acupuncturist (CTCMA of BC)
since September 2023. I received my Diploma of Acupuncture with the
highest distinction from Pacific Rim College in December 2022. From
multi-sport athlete to backpack-travelling seeker, I am a dynamic, open-minded
human who is curious about others and listens deeply with a wide-open
heart.
My draw to nature-based modalities of holistic
healing have lead me to immerse myself in Chinese Medicine to become a technician of acupuncture. I humbly give thanks for the opportunity to study and practice this ancestral Eastern medicine which has been shared with the West.
The ancient Chinese Medicine practitioners have mapped out the human
body by way of the channel system. These channels (or meridians) are
either Yin or Yang-natured and have intricate and important
relationships to one another. They work as a harmonious whole when
they are unblocked and unfettered - essentially free :) One of my
teachers reminds us that the channel system eloquently reveals that
the living human body is designed to harmonize the energies between
Heaven (the Universe) and Earth. How beautiful is that!
I find acupuncture a fascinating modality within the Chinese Medicine
system that works by way of balancing the mind-body-spirit without putting
anything external inside the body to affect change! Of course the use
of very fine, sterile, single-use needles are inserted into the
tissues to stimulate these changes, but the body is doing the re-
balancing ALL ON ITS OWN with its own energy and resources! How cool
is that?
I am an empathic and caring practitioner who trusts in the body’s
innate intelligence which naturally orients toward health, healing,
and wholeness.
It would be my honour and pleasure to support you on your healing
journey!
With respect, I give thanks for the opportunity to offer my services on the unceded and ancestral territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.

“For someone experiencing stress and anxiety I may focus more on a relaxation treatment and take less of a clinical approach. For a whiplash injury; Orthopedic assessment and physical pain relief may be the focus. One person may respond well to deeper techniques while others clients benefit from lighter pressure”.
